Norman Parkinson

A little bit of fashion photography whimsy today ala Norman Parkinson.

Parkinson was a self-proclaimed “craftsman”, working for Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Queen magazines in the 1940s-60s. He revolutionised fashion photography by bringing his models out of the studio. The last photo below shows the man himself with Carmen Dell’Orefice on a Vogue shoot in the Bahamas.
