East Coast snaps

Some snaps of the trip thus far. It has been sunny and lovely for the beginning of our Great Mid-Atlantic Trip of 2012.

I’ve missed the Chesapeake Bay, driving past huge corn fields, colonial houses, lightening bugs that come alive in the evenings and late night beers watching NFL replays at friendly bars. D and his English accent are a big hit here in Williamsburg. Yorktown should be a lot of fun later today 😉

Tell you one thing though, I am not used to East Coast heat anymore. 90F degrees by 9 am in Virginia this morning. I should not be complaining, because I’ve seen rain coming down sideways in Belgium today… But we are averaging 8 bottles of water a day at this point.

Have a great weekend y’all (that’s how you have to say it once you’ve crossed down to the South)

Xx J

  1. What is that store in photo #2? The one selling all the baked goods? I’m curious.

  2. enjoy that fabulous weather because you’ll be hit with autumn when you come back … or at least I think so compared to the weather the last couple of days here in Luxembourg
